How it works

One afternoon, one missed call, start to finish.

This is the whole service, in the order it happens. We configure it, connect it and manage it — nothing here needs anyone at your business to lift a finger.

Time Tuesday, 2:00 PM Outside 94°F Tech On a roof, mid-repair Caller Homeowner, AC not cooling
Step 01

The call is missed

Your technician is twenty feet up with his hands full and there's nobody free to pick up. How calls reach the assistant when your team can't take them is configured with you during setup, around the phone setup you already have.

Step 02

Your AI assistant answers

The caller hears a greeting written for your company, in the voice and tone you picked during setup. It introduces itself as your assistant — your business is the brand the customer hears, and your customers never hear the name IronBolt. The wording below is one example; yours is written with you.

"Thank you for calling ABC Heating & Cooling. I'm Mike's assistant. He's out on a job right now, but I can take down the important information for him and make sure he gets it right away. What can I help you with today?"

Step 03

It collects the information you asked for

Depending on how you configure it, the assistant can collect the caller's name, phone number, address, the reason for calling, the problem or service needed, the best time to call back, and anything else you want asked.

Step 04

It writes a summary of the call

A short, readable summary of the conversation is generated automatically — the situation in the caller's own terms, not a transcript you have to wade through.

Step 05

You get an instant text

Everything lands on your phone in one message you can read at a stoplight. It goes to you, your dispatcher, or whoever you name during setup.

Step 06

You take it from there

You already know who called, why they called, what they need, and when they want to hear back. No voicemail to play back, and no callback just to find out what the job is.

You keep working. IronBolt handles the call.

The details owners ask about

What happens in the situations that aren't tidy.

It's the busiest hour of your week

The hours when your phone rings most are the hours your team is furthest behind. That's the gap the assistant is there to cover, and how it behaves under load is part of what gets set up for your business.

It's a real emergency

You define what counts — no heat in February, a gas smell, water coming through a ceiling — and what should happen when one comes in. The assistant follows your escalation rule.

Somebody wants a price over the phone

It gives whatever pricing information you've approved during setup and collects the details you need. It won't invent numbers you didn't give it.

It's 8 PM on a Sunday

It works the same as it does on a Tuesday afternoon. What it says about your hours, and what happens to after-hours calls, is part of your configuration.

The caller asks if it's a person

It answers honestly and keeps helping. It represents your company by name — it never introduces itself to your customer as IronBolt.

The call runs long

Every deployment is configured with a maximum call duration. If a call reaches it, the assistant follows your approved next step — gather final details, tell the caller someone will follow up, escalate, or end the call politely.

What your crew has to do

Nothing.

There's nothing for your team to install and nothing new for them to learn. They keep answering the phone the way they do today — the difference is that the calls they can't get to come back to you written up.

You get a text when a lead comes in. That's the entire interface. If you'd rather your dispatcher get them instead of you, or both of you, that's a setting.
